GSV is a New York advertising and marketing business built around one idea: there is more to your business than what people see. GSV was founded in 2010. Doug Recupero came to photography by way of writing. A college photography class turned into a career photographing businesses across the five boroughs and Long Island, and that work led to Google's Street View program. GSV is trusted by Google for Street View, with more than 1,200 panoramas published and 1.4 million views on Google Maps. Photographing stores meant seeing what happened after the shoot: listings that went stale, flyers that didn't match what was on the shelf, social accounts that went quiet. So GSV grew into the marketing a store owner doesn't have time for. Today it manages the Google presence of 44 businesses, 12 of them supermarkets, and produces their weekly circulars, social content, video and campaigns.
